About Us

What to expect from you trip.

At Good Times Fishing Co. your experience is our number one priority. We start our day with a fully stocked bait tank, so that the entire 4-6 hour trip is dedicated to fishing. Trips typically start at first light with meeting time and place confirmed the day before. We have top of the line electronics to ensure we get on a good group of fish, and all necessary fishing equipment is provided. At the end of the trip, all fish caught will be cleaned and bagged for you to take home.

We fish in all weather conditions provided that it is safe to do so. It is recommended to plan accordingly by bringing sunscreen, sunglasses, and to dress appropriately for the weather. Coolers are welcome on our boat and we encourage you to bring any food/beverage you prefer since we typically stay on the water through lunch.

The captain.

Blake Toews has been fishing since he was old enough to hold his own rod and reel. He grew up near Stillwater, OK where his father taught him to fish on the local waterways. His favorite place to be is on the water with friends and family catching whatever fish are willing to bite.

Fishing has been a large part of Blake’s life and he hopes to share the joy that fishing has brought him throughout the years. Blake is dedicated to providing the best experience for every person that books with him and is thankful to those that have trusted him to guide their trips.

The lake.

Lake Texoma is called the Striper Capital of the World. Located on the Texas and Oklahoma border, Texoma is considered one of the premier Striped Bass fisheries in the world. One of only 8 lakes in the U.S. where Striped Bass or "Stripers" are known to spawn successfully. This 89,000 acre lake is famous for the amount of fish it produces.
